Season round-up 2005/6
Following a very tense and exciting season, the Men's 2nd XI gained promotion on the last day with a record of 18 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses - beating 2nd placed Eastcote to the trophy on goal difference. With 99 goals for, and only 18 against, the team excelled in all parts of the field and only lost points due to lack of availability. Several new faces helped strengthen the team in key areas, whilst the old guard remained in consistently good form. The team are looking forward to their return to the Southern Premier league, and despite the departure of Jonny "Goals" Freedman who is returning to his native Israel for a year, expect to consolidate for a comfortable mid-table finish in 2007. Finally, the Men's second XI would like to wish Stuart Raper all the best in his long battle against Hovisitis.
