Season round-up 2005/6
The L6s had an encouraging season, their first in the Middlesex League. We were joined by 9 new players, some of whom were returning to hockey after a few years away from the game, all of whom were very extremely enthusiastic and valuable team members. With 2 out of 9 teams dropping out from our league, the competition was scarce, but a willingness to travel far and wide to make up our match-less weekends with friendlies meant that we could continue to play together and improve week on week. With an almost 100% retention rate for next season and a re-vamped league, we are feeling positive about great things to come. Many thanks to the players offering transport every week, and the higher team captains and our coaches for your support over the last year.
