Ladies 6s
The Ladies 6’s is the team that probably has the most fun out of all of the ladies teams in the club. The team is made up of a range of different abilities. Whether you’ve never held a hockey stick before, used to play at school but haven’t played since, or just fancy playing hockey with nice bunch of people on a Saturday, our team is the team for you.
Last season was fairly mixed, the majority of the team was new but by the end of the season we were all working really well together, having learnt some valuable skills along the way. We were even nominated for, and eventually won, the “Fair Play Award” by the rest of the league. Our team won because we were always positive, cheerful and showed sportslady qualities at all our matches – what better team to be a part of!
After a hard day of hockey there’s nothing we like better than winding down at the clubhouse and catching up with other teams. We host and attend regular socials and as I said earlier, we all love to have fun. From beer olympics to minnie mouse fancy dress, we love to party hard so if you think that our team is the team for you, please get in touch as we would love to meet you.
